As we grow up, we all suppress these childlike qualities to some degree—conditioned by our family’s expectations, our ancestral traumas, and our environment and culture. The goal of inner child therapy is to heal any traumas and emotional dissonance encountered in our childhood to discover a deeper sense of wholeness and wellbeing.

When we experience a traumatic event in childhood, it can have long-lasting effects on our lives. Regression therapy is a form of alternative therapy that allows us to go back in time and heal from the past. It’s based on the principle that we all have a natural ability to regress back to an earlier stage of development to heal something that wasn’t resolved at that stage. If you’ve experienced some kind of childhood trauma, you might want to find ways to recover from it and move forward with your life. Perhaps you struggle with anxiety or depression because of your past experiences. Perhaps you feel stuck, unable to move beyond them. Or maybe you just want a new beginning, a fresh start. Hypnotic regression therapy can help you with this.

How does a session operate?

This three-hour session is intended to help you reconnect with your inner child, a part of yourself that likely has been repressed to some degree over time. The inner child hides in your subconscious just as everyone else's does, and in this session, a safe space is created using hypnosis. The child, once invited in, identifies the areas and times where his wounds were sustained. Once you've taken care of these injuries, you'll be able to begin the process of healing and promise to protect and cherish your inner child.

Children need to comprehend what happened in their early lives. This is achieved by viewing their lives from their caretaker's viewpoint. These realizations are significant and significant. Once one is aware, one's earliest forebears and blunders are remembered all the way back to them. They may have lived in dread or relied on anger for strength. Love is sent as well as the understanding that healing this family line may result in both personal and collective gains.

When you focus on your inner child, you will see how life could have been different if people had treated each other with love and respect. The new, positive inner child will then be allowed to develop into an adult. Through Jung's individuation process, this new self is then fully integrated with the adult self.

What can harm our inner child?

Even if one's childhood was marred by injury, the inner child that always has a voice and yearns to be heard can't always get his say, since many individuals miss out on the fun and joy it brings. If a child experiences damaging conditioning in childhood, such as being called "stupid," "worthless," or "will never amount to much," the grown-up self will almost always have low self-esteem and self-worth, believing that he or she will not be able to accomplish anything. In order to change damaging childhood conditioning into something more positive, the adult personality must be in charge rather than allowing the wounded and defensive inner child to take over.

Why aren't these issues dealt with before the child is grown up?

A family bereavement, for example, might have been emotionally swept under the rug in years past, preventing a healthy processing of grief. This leads to the child's issues not being addressed and to a poor sense of self. As a result, the child's self-esteem is impaired and shadow aspects of the psyche may develop.

What will happen if you don't address these issues?

A person's hidden emotions and thoughts are brought to the surface through inner child work, and those thoughts are released through healing rather than re-traumatizing. Through this process, people are able to move on from events that may have negatively impacted their lives.

What purpose does this serve?

According to epigenetics research, these unhelpful messages may be encoded into the active expression of an individual's DNA. These messages can be eliminated to improve wellbeing. My approach to Inner Child Healing is based, in part, on the research of Dr. Bruce Lipton. This new therapeutic method addresses specifically where the patient's parents might have had their own difficulties in order to heal.

What is Ancestral Healing?

Every person's DNA contains the information that has been passed down through the generations, which includes both positive and negative patterns acquired throughout life. The individual looks for the source of the issue in their ancestral line, identifying harmful elements of their DNA code. In hypnosis, one can remedy and reeducate one's ancestors, enabling them to behave in a fresh manner by using the energy of love, unity, cooperation, and other elements as well. This results in liberation from abuse, tyranny, terror, anger, and bigotry. It also results in heart-centered living that benefits all beings in all time periods. 

Inner Child and Ancestral healing as a combined therapy helps free you up from the conscious or unconscious resentment you might have been holding towards your parents and ancestors. It’s the forgiveness that frees us up from the burden we have been carrying and releases our energy for greater creativity and joy for life.
